Happy Halloween!!

Lady Bug Kaitlyn had a great Halloween despite being stuck home with no trick-or-treating or Halloween parties because of her first case of tonsilitis. She did, however, allow her mom and dad to dress her up and take tons of pictures (sorry, didn't get any good shots of the tonsils).

After taking Kaitlyn to the pediatrician's on Halloween afternoon, we had to stop and buy some trick-or-treat candy because we had planned on going to a Halloween party at the Swick's home (one of the guys Jeff works with at Wilford Hall). Boy are we glad we did. Last year we didn't have one trick-or-treater; this year we had tons!! We sat out on our front porch all evening along with the rest of the neighborhood (a nice Texas tradition to take advantage of the nice weather -- no longer are the days of winter coats over the top of your costume while you run from door to door in the snow), handed out candy, and tried not to let Kaitlyn get too close to any of the other kids.

Thankfully Kaitlyn was able to get 24 hours of antibiotics in her before our ward's Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat Saturday night. She still got to show off her wings and flirt with all the little super heros. FUN!! FUN!!
